Whale watching

Our first time whale watching experience at the Bodega Bay, a definite must do activity. The sheer pleasure of seeing the whales from quite a distance at the coast was a wonderful experience for both me and my husband. We were seated near the Bogeda Head Ocean Point watch and sigh we didnt have a binocular, which made it difficult to actually see the whales with the naked eyes. There was already a group of senior people doing the whale watch right from morning 9 Am. One of them is actually coming to this point every day of the week. Man what a way to enjoy one's retirement life.

Finally managed to borrow a binoculars from one of the volunteers (though that didnt help me much as it was so old and dusty and almost to the point of retirement ). The whales didnt actually disappoint ppl like us who didnt have the binoculars. Managed to see one of them travelling north, coming above the waters to take a deep breath and then ducking again into the ocean for the next 5 mins. I felt the pleasure of a kid on a field trip. The weather was just too perfect to be sitting right under the sun.

After the whale watching for almost more than an hour, we then drove by the beaches only to stop by at one of the beaches for 5 mins and heading home after that as we couldnt take the heat any more. It was getting to our heads straight.
